Scott Swanson is the North America Advisory Practice Leader and Global Advisory Solutions Leader at LevelBlue. Scott leverages more than years of experience a globally recognized cybersecurity, financial crimes, and national security intelligence professional focused on threat identification and risk mitigation. At LevelBlue, Scott advises clients ranging from Fortune 500 organizations to Private Equity Portfolios on cybersecurity best practices and emerging technology trends. He is recognized for recent thought leadership on Artificial Intelligence Adoption Readiness through his recent publication, Beyond the AI Rush: A Practical Mid-Market Playbook.

Prior to LevelBlue, Scott held senior leadership and advisory roles across global consulting, enterprise technology, and the national security community. At PwC, he served as a Cyber and Financial Crimes Advisor supporting commercial and Department of Defense clients across cybersecurity, privacy, fraud, AML, and risk. At Deloitte, he was a Specialist Leader in the Federal Intelligence Practice, leading strategic consulting and operational support for U.S. Intelligence Community and Combatant Command clients.

Before this, Scott served as Group Leader, Intelligence at SAP, advising the C-suite on corporate threats, global trends, strategy, and executive decision support, and as Director in Oracle’s Office of the CEO, providing competitive intelligence and market strategy supporting major corporate initiatives. Scott’s earlier career included intelligence advisory and contracting assignments supporting U.S. government, special operations, special program, and intelligence community missions.

Scott holds an MLitt in Terrorism Studies from the University of St Andrews and a Master of Science degree in Strategic Intelligence from American Military University, with additional graduate study in Forensic Science at Drexel University. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Culture and Communication from Illinois State University and also studied languages and literature at Université Grenoble Alpes. His professional credentials and executive education span financial crimes investigation, cyber counterintelligence, generative AI, cybersecurity strategy, and AI-driven business transformation, including programs from MIT Sloan, AWS, and IBM.
