Resilience will be the watchword for Chief Technology Officers (CTOs) for the next 12 months, according to LevelBlue’s latest Persona Spotlight: CTO report that includes the opinions of hundreds of CTOs surveyed worldwide.
The report found that, overall, CTOs believe they are well-positioned to address the threats they face, with about 60% saying they have robust threat-management processes in place. However, this is tempered by their concern over new and emerging threats that have the ability to exploit workforce vulnerabilities.
For example, 39% of CTOs believe AI-powered threats are imminent, but only 24% are confident they have a plan in place to deal with them.
The CTOs surveyed also expressed concern that the level of alignment and collaboration is insufficient, with only about a third saying they are very competent in areas relating to cybersecurity and cyber resilience.
The complete report, which can be accessed here, includes information on:
- Why CTOs are concerned about threats targeting the workforce.
- The need for better workforce education and strategic alignment would boost resilience.
- The need for workforce cybersecurity education.

The Persona Spotlight: CTO is designed to inspire not only CTOs, but also those who work closely with these executives by offering critical insight into how peers are preparing for the continuously changing threat landscape.
