On Thursday we posted our second question of the Trustwave 2012 Global Security Report Twitter Contest.
The question was…
"Which industry ranked third in total number of breaches investigated by Trustwave SpiderLabs in 2011?"
The answer is...
"Hospitality" and was part of the "2011 Incident Response Investigations" section (pages 3-20) in the Trustwave 2012 Global Security Report. Back in 2010, Hospitality ranked #1 in our list of industries hardest hit by data breaches. As a result of those breaches, over the last two years, many hotels and resorts have invested a great deal in improving the security of their customer's data. This investment appears to have paid off.
